Chief Human Resources Manager, Queensland Rugby League
Jane Shand has been a people and performance leader holding senior HR positions across small, medium and large organisations for the last 15 years. She has experience in a range of industries including Sport, Tourism, Education, Publishing, Consulting, Telecommunications and Community Services.
Her current role as Chief Human Resources Manager involves designing the people, performance and culture function at Queensland Rugby League.
In 2017 Jane was awarded the prestigious ‘Australian HR Manager of the Year Award’ and in 2019 was a Finalist in the Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards. In 2019, QRL was nationally recognised with a Finalist Award for industry-leading change in the area of Human Resources, and recently QRL have been announced as a Workplace Flexibility Finalist in the 2021 HR Awards.
Jane holds a Master of Management and has recently completed the global Executive HR program at Harvard Business School.
