Leith Mitchell, Senior Associate for Diversity Partners, partners with ASX500 & government & global organisations to develop Diversity & Inclusion strategy, such as QSuper, Bank of Queensland, Powerlink, Unitywater, Xero. She engages directly with Boards & Executive teams on inclusive leadership & unconscious bias education such as Transurban, Ergon Energy, BHP Coal, Downer, Asciano, Cromwell Property Group, Domino’s, Rio Tinto, EPIC, MAX Solutions, Civica.
Prior to joining Diversity Partners, Leith was IBM’s Diversity Recruitment Leader, responsible for leading Gender and People with Disability initiatives for over 50 countries. Leith developed the Global Diversity Recruitment strategy to attract, promote & retain senior women.
Prior to specialising in Diversity & Inclusion, Leith had a 16 year career as a Human Capital Management Executive for IBM & PwC; bringing unparalleled business experience to the Diversity & Inclusion agenda managing major transformational change initiatives across countries and cultures.
She holds several education degrees, a Masters in IT, Grad Cert Business, a Masters of Wellness, writes for Women’s Agenda, Future Women, and has recently published research on diversity & inclusion in the Journal of the Finance Planning Association of Australia. Leith has also chaired the 2014, 2015 & 2017 Women in Leadership Summit in Brisbane.
