Jo has worked at Hastings Deering since 2012. As the General Manager People, Jo leads the human resources function and is the Chief Executive for Hastings Deering’s Registered Training Organisation.
Her key responsibilities are:
- Develop and implement best fit human capital strategy within a values based performance culture
- Deliver strategic goals through leader driven performance and talent investment
- Lead the operation and governance of the Registered Training Organisation
- Manage organisational transformation programs with integrity and grit
Jo has more than 20 years’ industry experience and has held senior HR roles at Aurizon, Glencore and Amcor. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Applied Science. She is also a certified member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
While not at work, Jo likes to spend time with her family on their boat, and enjoys running and reading.
